Meet Lightning Jack, your shortcut to a seaside state of mind. With over 30 years onstage, he brings the warm shimmer of instrumental steel drum music - melodies that float, rhythms that sway, and an easy groove that makes everything feel like golden hour. It’s the perfect soundtrack for unwinding with friends, lingering over dinner, or sneaking in a little chair-dance between bites.

Jack’s first spark? Elvis. The King’s showmanship and feel for a great melody still guide the way Jack shapes a tune—simple, singable, and full of lift. Ask about a dream collaboration and he doesn’t miss a beat: Jimmy Buffett (of course). Island spirit meets steel-drum joy, and suddenly the patio feels like a beachfront.

What can you expect at Mattison’s? A breezy, feel-good set that keeps conversation easy and moods high - no backing tracks, no fuss, just steel drums painting the air with color. Between sets, Jack’s go-to order is chicken - fuel for the next wave of coastal grooves. Settle in, sip something cold, and let Lightning Jack carry you somewhere sunny.
