Mattison’s Forty-One All Pinot Wine-Pairing Dinner on Thursday, June 27, 2013
Mattison’s Forty-One, in Sarasota, Florida hosts an All Pinot Wine-Pairing Dinner on Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 6:30pm featuring five dinner courses, six vineyards and all Pinot wines.
Chef Paul Mattison’s dinner menu:
Arrival reception guests receive a Firesteed, Pinot Gris;
Savory Peach Melba poached peach, goat cheese ice cream, petite greens, warm honey-lavender vinaigrette paired with a Steele Pinot Blanc;
Egg Yolk Raviolo spinach ricotta, Parmesan, black truffle butter paired with a ZD Pinot Noir;
Crispy Spiced Rubbed Duck Leg Confit toasted faro, morel mushrooms, pickled ramps, cherry gastrique paired with a Truchard Pinot Noir;
Reconstructed Lamb Pot Roast turnip gratin, bacon wrapped asparagus, carrot velouté, lamb reduction sauce paired with a Morgan LL Pinot Noir;
Cherry Bomb milk chocolate mousse with a balsamic and port wine glazed cherry center in a crispy dark chocolate shell and a tart cherry coulis paired with a Mossback Russian River Pinot Noir.
The dinner is $75 per person plus tax and gratuity. Special guest and wine guide for the evening is Bob Larkin from Pacific Southern Wine Company.
