Mattison's City Grille Mardi Gras on Tuesday, February 12, 2013

Mattison’s City Grille, in Sarasota, Florida presents a Mardi Gras celebration with decorations, live music, food and drink specials. A Taste of New Orleans lunch and dinner menu is presented on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Seafood Gumbo is offered all day. Lunch specials are from 11am and include Oyster Po’ Boy Sandwich with chipotle aïoli, lettuce, and tomatoes on a soft hoagie roll; Cajun Shrimp Pizza with andouille sausage, tomato sauce, and mozzarella cheese; Veggie Pizza with crispy okra, green peppers, onions, goat cheese, collard greens, and red pepper pesto. Evening specials are from 5pm and include, as an appetizer, Fried Corn dusted oysters with a spicy Creole mustard rémoulade; dinner entrée specials include Jambalaya with crawfish, bay scallops, smoked pork, and andouille sausage with rice; Mushroom and Sausage Stuffed Cornish Hen with cheese grits, and tomato basil sauce. For dessert, Mattison’s City Grille offers a house made Bread Pudding with bourbon sauce. Jennifer Leigh performs live from 7:30pm.
