Mattison's and Circus Sarasota: Nik Wallenda Crosses the Grand Canyon, Hometown Viewing & Street Party on Sunday, June 23, 2013

Chef Paul Mattison, executive chef and proprietor of Mattison’s in Sarasota, Florida and Pedro Reis, CEO of Circus Sarasota announce the second annual “Wallenda – Beyond Belief Viewing and Street Party – from Sarasota to the Grand Canyon” on Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 7-11pm. The street party is on Lemon Avenue between Main Street and First Avenue in front of Mattison’s City Grille. This fundraising event supporting Circus Sarasota, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, celebrates Nik Wallenda as he walks across the Grand Canyon on a high wire, live on television.

The street party is free and open to the public and is a sponsored collaboration between Mattison’s and Circus Sarasota. The street party presents a variety of circus performances by international circus artists and youth performers from the Sailor Circus. This fun event offers hands-on family-friendly circus activities including balloon making, face-painitng, low wire walking, street vendors, a raffle with great prizes, live auction, projection on the Jumbotron video screen of Nik crossing the Grand Canyon and so much more. Mattison’s City Grille offers live music, dancing, and a variety of exciting food and drink specials plus the current menu. A distinct VIP area, in front of the main stage and Jumbotron screen, offers a reserved seating area, and a special three-course menu with wine catered by Chef Paul Mattison. VIP tickets are $100 per person or $1000 for a table of eight.
