We have licensed and registered Wedding Planners on staff to take care of all of your arrangements. From choosing the menu and finding the right location, to flowers, dresses, venues, and entertainment, Mattison has the experience and professionalism to help your dream wedding become reality. We specialize in beach and waterfront weddings, and offer in-house waterfront facilities for wedding ceremonies, receptions, parties and brunches. We also offer multiple in-house options for smaller groups from 10-300.

       

For off-site weddings, Mattison’s is a pre-approved caterer at the most popular locations in Sarasota and Bradenton. We cook on site, so, on top of being fresh, you can be sure your catered menu will be exactly what you imagined.

Event & Wedding Planning
Mattison’s Catering Company offers a full range of services, places, ideas and planning assistance to help make your wedding or event a success. We can handle anything from simple party platters and intimate dinner parties to full service black tie affairs. Every event is different and new, and we are creative for each party and location. In fact, attention to small, but meaningful details is one of the hallmarks of a Mattison’s event. Our staff is dedicated to offering world-class cuisine and exceptional service.

Whether it is a wedding, a theme party, a wine dinner, a rehearsal dinner, a tasting, a seminar or a corporate luncheon, custom catering and attention to detail is very important to us. We offer the services of a certified event planner, or we can work hand in hand with your event coordinator. Our three Mattison’s restaurants Mattison’s Forty-One, and Mattison’s City Grille each provide their own ambiance to enhance your affair.

Mattison’s Forty-One is available for wedding rehearsals, wine dinners, corporate events, buy-outs and private room rental. The entire restaurant is 10,000 square feet and the occupancy is standard seating 210, plus an outdoor patio for 30-40 people. The décor is casual elegance and the cuisine is exquisite. Chef Paul Mattison’s signature dishes, like oven roasted lamb, duck and fresh seafood are the highlights of the menu, along with an extensive wine list, live music and dancing. Our newest private catering facility, The Galleria, modeled after the arcades in Milan, seats from 20-100 people for a formal sit-down event and can accommodate up to 150 for a cocktail party, with plenty of room for our dance floor and a private bar. The Galleria also features a state of the art sound system perfect for everything from business meetings to dance parties. Some of the unique design features are a wine cellar entrance, sky lights, elegant silver leaf on the walls, a tranquil coy pond and waterfall and an outdoor garden terrace. Mattison’s Bayside at the Van Wezel for waterfront weddings!

The Grand Foyer at the Van Wezel is a spectacular waterfront location available for a wide variety of wedding events including ceremonies, receptions, bridal brunches or teas, family gatherings and more. This elegant space on Sarasota Bay can accommodate 350 seated guests or 500 guests for a cocktail reception style event. The Grand Foyer opens up to the outdoor Terrace and Bayfront lawn accommodating an additional 1,500 people. Mattison’s Bayside at the Van Wezel is the perfect location for your next event and Mattison’s is a full-service caterer.

Mattison’s was wonderful!! They recently became the resident caterer for Van Wezel, which was my husband and my top venue choice. When I called to set up a meeting it was Chef Paul that called me back and met with us that week. He was able to work within our budget and the food was fantastic!!
My husband and I worked with both Maggie (to set up the original menu) and with Heidi who was the event planner. Both were wonderful. Heidi truly put our minds at ease and helped us put the finishing touches on our event. We also had the pastry chef from Mattison’s make our cake which was as tasty as it was beautiful :)
The event was so well managed, and all the staff at the wedding were so professional and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was perfect. Chef Paul even came over to our table while my husband and I were eating dinner to say congrats. We were beyond impressed.
