Dear Jennifer,

Summer has gone by so quickly and with the Season approaching, we are getting excited about transforming Mattison's Steakhouse at the Plaza for the UnParty on September 7th, the most exciting party to kick-off Sarasota's Social Season. One night a year we close down Mattison's Steakhouse at the Plaza and create an amazing atmosphere to match the Event's secret theme. I have prepared an outrageous menu which I can't wait to unveil! Join us in the excitement and help support the Ringling Museum at the same time.

We are also working on new menu development for each Mattison's, adding unique items and ingredients while keeping our signature specials and all of your favorites on the menu, so keep an eye out and be sure to give us your feedback.

On a personal note, our beautiful new baby, Gianna, is one month old and already growing up too quickly! We can't believe the way one tiny little girl can transform your whole life but we also can't for all of life's adventures with Gianna leading the way!

UnGala Gala UnParty at
Mattison's Steakhouse at the Plaza

Join us September 7th, as Chef Paul Mattison transforms, once again, Mattison's Steakhouse at the Plaza into an exciting night club, hosting the always unpredictable UnParty, the precursor event for the annual UnGala Gala. The exciting UnParty evening features live music, dancing, a fantastic fashion show, and an outrageous special menu prepared by Chef Paul Mattison! Event Chair, Chris Pfahler, leads the UnGala Gala committee this year and will place plenty of clues around Mattison's Steakhouse at the Plaza during the UnParty for those guests intent on deciphering the theme of this year's UnGala Gala! All proceeds from both the UnParty and the UnGala Gala benefit the The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art.

Everyone loves Girls' Night Out, so be sure to visit Mattison's Siesta Grille where we offer great drink specials for Girls along with free pizza or the Chef's appetizer special from 7pm to closing.

Mattison's Siesta Grille's Fresh Fish Friday (say that three times) features Chef Paul Mattison's special weekly fresh fish catch. Mattison's Siesta Grille also offers delicious salads, fabulous burgers, mouth-watering lamb, and, of course, our all too famous Island Drink Specials.

Mattison's Steakhouse at the Plaza's Prime Rib Thursdays from 5:30-9pm has gathered quite a following. Our spectacular Prime Rib dinner is slowly roasted, hand cut to order, and accompanied with fresh market vegetables, sauces, and your choice of potato. Make your reservations today so you can enjoy Chef Paul Mattison's Thursday special! Our Prime Rib, along with all of our beef, is dry aged. Mattison's Steakhouse at the Plaza offers live music nightly, and on Thursdays great live jazz is performed by the amazing Debbie Keeton Jazz Duo from 6-9pm.

Mattison's Steakhouse at the Plaza's Summer Hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 5:30-9pm, Friday and Saturday from 5:30-10pm, Sunday from 5:30-9pm and we are closed on Monday.

The Manatee Chamber of Commerce has received two accolades recently, being named the Florida Chamber of the Year by the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals for the third time and also being awarded National 2007 Chamber of the Year by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives.
