For the John Cannon customers who will be building in "The Concession", both John and Chef Paul Mattison will be available to meet with the homebuyers personally and assess their needs. “We will spend time one on one with the homebuyer, and then Paul and I will work together to combine their ideas and needs with our expertise and make it work on paper and then in reality” says John Cannon. “The kitchen has become the true heart of the home. Families congregate there, and guests gravitate to sneak a peek at what’s cooking. At John Cannon Homes, we believe your kitchen should be as much a piece of culinary art as the dishes prepared there. Partnering with Chef Mattison will create the perfect balance between form and function in The Royal Melbourne,” said Cannon.

Mattison's Steakhouse at the Plaza will be introducing a new event this year. Many of our clients have asked us about hosting a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with family-style seating for those want to take this opportunity to meet new people and celebrate together. We are scheduling an early seating at 4pm at Mattison's Steakhouse at the Plaza with reservations recommended. This sumptuous Thanksgiving dinner will include the menu below plus a complimentary house cocktail or glass of wine. Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner will also be served at 5:30pm featuring slow roasted turkey breast, served with sweet potatoes au gratin, cranberry compote, winter vegetables, gravy and pumpkin torte, $26.95 for adults, $12.95 for children under 12 years.

Mattison's Siesta Grille will also be serving a special Thanksgiving Dinner Menu complete with Chef Paul Mattison's unique culinary touch for $24.95 for adults and $12.95 for children under 12 years. Mattison's City Grille will be open on Thanksgiving from 4pm with some special Thanksgiving items as well as serving the regular menu.

Chef Paul Mattison and a group from Sarasota traveled Italy in September participating in several hands-on cooking classes, food shopping expeditions, wine tastings and of course visiting all of the famous sites.
