Mattison's VIP Cards Now Available


We are proud once again to offer a VIP Dining Club card valid at all Mattison’s restaurants any time during normal service hours. Your membership entitles you to twelve meals where the food portion (appetizers, entrées, desserts, and side orders) of your bill will be divided by the number of people in your party. Two people, one-half is deducted; three people, one-third is deducted; four people, one-fourth is deducted etc.

The price is $70 per card and is valid until January 31, 2007. This is a limited offer. All beverages, taxes and gratuities must be paid separately. May be used any day except: Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and New Years Eve. One use per visit, not valid with any other promotion.

Mattison's, together with Orangeline Tours, has organized Mattison's Progressive Dinner. We will meet at Mattison's City Grille in downtown Sarasota and board the the air conditioned Orangeline Tours coach at 6pm and travel to Mattison's Siesta Grille for drinks and appetizers. The shuttle will then transport you to Mattison's Steakhouse at the Plaza for an amazing dinner with wine. We will then go to Mattison's City Grille for coffee, dessert, live music from The Venturas and dancing. Seating is limited and reservations are required.

Co-Sponsored by Mattison’s Siesta Grille and The Parson’s Allstate, the Practicing Good Decision Golf Invitational promises to be a fun and challenging event. A round of golf, one dozen Titleist Pro-V golf balls, and an incredible steak dinner and fabulous door prizes are all included.

Good Decisions is a mentoring program training high school students to be mentors for “at risk” elementary by reading to them and helping to create new levels of reading confidence.

We have organized a wandering culinary journey through the region of Umbria and Tuscany followed by a visit to the very best sites of Rome. In Umbria we will visit the towns of Assisi and Perugia, and in Tuscany, we will also visit the town of Terme di Rapolano, famous for its spas and natural hot springs. A very special tasting of balsamic vinegar and local cheeses has been arranged along with a tour of Montalcino, the home of one Italy’s great red wines Brunello. We will spend time with experienced, local chefs in Orvietto and tour the wine and olive oil estate, La Cacciata, of the Belcapo family who will further educate you in the use of olive oil along with a short tour of their winery and olive oil press. Pienza, Rome, Florence and Siena are not far and we have planned tours of each of these charming, romantic and historical cities as well.

Spirit of Sarasota allows restaurants to display their unique flavor and will prepare a Prix Fixe lunch for $15 per person and dinner for $25 per person to serve during this event week. Each restaurant will offer something different like special drinks, interactive demonstrations or cooking lessons. Mattison's will offer a menu of signature cocktails such as Red Rum Mango Mojito, Crater Lake Hazelnut Espresso Martini and Brazilian Bushwacker. A new event is blowing into town, just in time for hurricane season. The Southwest Florida Chapter of the American Red Cross announces its first annual Hurricane Bash. The guest of honor will be Jim Cantore, Storm Meteorologist from The Weather Channel. Highlighting a tropical theme, this casual and fun party will be catered by Mattison's, with a full bar, live music and dancing, a silent auction, and a live auction of a trip to a hurricane-free zone: A cruise for two to Alaska. Proceeds benefit the hurricane preparedness and response programs of the Southwest Florida Chapter of the American Red Cross
