Wow, season is upon us, and as you can see, February is a busy month. I have had several requests to do another cooking demonstration, which we have scheduled on February 20 at Mattison's Forty One. If you have not visited us there yet, this is a great opportunity! And for all of those Southern Sarasota Mattison's fans who love Mattison's Steakhouse at the Plaza, but don't love the drive out to Longboat Key, we have scheduled a Mattison's Road Trip so you can enjoy a wonderful dinner and let us do the driving! See below for details.

Don't forget your sweetheart on Valentine's Day, and don't forget to make your reservations early! (Guys... that means you). If you are single, Mattison's has also planned a singles party at each location, so be sure to get out of the house on Valentines Day and join us at Mattison's!

Mardi Gras at Mattison's Riverside: Starts Tonight

Mattison's Super Bowl Party on Sunday, February 3

Mattison's City Grille is having a Super Bowl Party with great drink specials, fun appetizers like Shrimp Rangoon, Chef Paul Mattison's Chicken Wings, amazing Burgers, great Brick Oven Pizzas, Steaks, Pasta and more. This year's Super Bowl will be projected onto a larger-than-life ten foot screen! So, join us downtown for a great Super Bowl Party!

Mattison's Forty One, Mattison's Steakhouse at the Plaza, and Mattison's Riverside will offer our current menu, along with Super Bowl Sunday specials. You will be able to watch the game in the bar or enjoy dinner in our dining room while still being able to check the score!

Valentine's Day at Mattison's, Thursday, February 14

All Mattison's restaurants will feature Valentine's Day specials on Thursday, February 14 plus our Valentine's Day Pomegranate Martini, and Pama Kir Royale, served in a Pama Champagne glass (to keep) made with Pama Pomegranate liqueur and Champagne.

The Romantic Couples Dinner is offered in each Mattison's and will be a candle lit dinner, in the perfect romantic atmosphere and features a special menu for two.

The I'm Unattached and OK singles party, invites all those singles on the West coast, who normally feel they have to stay home on Valentine's Day, to join us at any of our four fabulous Mattison's locations. We will have great drink specials, fun appetizers, live music, dancing and more. Mattison's Riverside features live music with Doc and Buster from 6-10pm on the deck, for reservations call 941.748.8087. For the second year in a row, Mattison's Steakhouse at the Plaza on Longboat Key was awarded Florida Trend Magazines Golden Spoon Award for Excellence along with 19 other Florida Restaurants. Michael Klauber, of Michael On East, a Hall of Fame Winner presented Chef Paul Mattison with the Golden Spoon Award at the ceremony. Congratulations to Sarasota and Manatee's fellow winners.
