Where Home Shopping Network
Chef Paul Mattison will again appear on the national
television show, Home Shopping Network (channel 40 in
Sarasota with Comcast) as the Cuisinart spokesperson. He
will be doing four 30-45 minute cooking demonstrations with
a variety of Cuisinart products. Be sure to check it out!

Foster Samoas Crepes with Lemon Coolers Whipped
Cream. The event was held on Sunday,
January 22, 2006 with all proceeds benefiting the
Girl Scouts of
Gulfcoast Florida.
Recipe
Daisy's Tropical Bananas Foster Samoas Crepes
with Lemon Coolers Whipped Cream
by Chef Douglas C. Ricciardi & Chef Ben Christopher
from
Mattison's
Yield 12 Servings
Ingredients
1 box of chopped Samoas, 6 sliced bananas, 1 pound of
brown/white sugar mixed, 24 Crepes, 8 oz Crème Fraiche,
1 pound of butter, 8oz spiced rum, 8oz Orange Juice,
1 box
ground fine Lemon Coolers, 8oz of whipped cream
Method
Freeze and Chop Samoas. Grind Lemon Coolers in
coffee mill.
In a hot sauté pan, melt butter, sugar add sliced
bananas,
and sauté 1 minute. Add rum and orange juice,
deglaze pan.
Add Crepe, spoon in crème fraiche and crumbled Samoas.
Fold over and serve with Lemon Coolers whipped cream .
(Gently fold ground Lemon Coolers into whipped Cream)

Jack Perkins filmed a segment on Chef Paul Mattison
for A Gulf Coast Journal with Jack Perkins. Mr
Perkins did a cooking-demonstration styled interview
with Chef Paul Mattison in his home, another at Mattison's
Steakhouse at the Plaza and finally at Mattison's City Grille.
Mr. Perkins and crew
decided to stay for lunch at Mattison's City Grille
and later sent
Chef Paul Mattison a note exclaiming "that was quite
possibly
the best burger I have ever had!" Keep an eye out
for the
segment at the end of this month!
