8pm and on Wednesday, May 21 from 8pm.
Saraosta/Bradenton's Syesha Mercado finished the show last week
as the Top Three and we could not be more proud. However,
as the show continues, American Idol fans are excited to watch the final
two contestants, compete on Tuesday, May 20. The last show of the season
airs on Wednesday, May 21 with the announcement of the winner of Season
Seven s American Idol along with a final performance of Idol's Top Ten,
including Sarasota/Bradenton's Syesha Mercado.
Mattison's City Grille will have large screen TVs on hand for perfect
viewing both nights.

Access Hollywood, the
national TV show on NBC, came to Sarasota to film the Syesha Mercado
Viewing Parties at Mattison s City Grille where Syesha was in the
Final Top Three. This was the street party in downtown Sarasota, on Tuesday,
May 13, 2008 which included the restuaurant, Mattison s City Grille and the
closing off of Lemon Avenue just in front of the restaurant. We had a two story
TV screen set up, 100 extra chairs, a food station, a stage for the wonderful
emcees Christina Crane and David Jones from 107.9 WSRZ along with Antawan Smith,
SNN6 Sports Anchor, live music, and more. By 8:30pm we had about 500-600 people
in the street and the restaurant was standing room only. This show aired the
following evening, Wednesday, May 14, 2008.
