Leah Pollard works at Mattison's City Grille in downtown Sarasota on Sunday during the Super Bowl. For a lot of fans, it was a stay-at-home game, but Mattison's night manager Richard Mondron said he was pleased with the crowd that had gathered by early evening.

...Mattison's City Grille on Main Street conjured up a special menu for the game, invented drinks for the Cardinals and the Steelers, and brought in a wall-sixed TV.

Even so, Richard Mondron, the night manager, did not have overblown hopes for a big crowd going on. He was pleased at the solid turnout by early evening.

"We're not normally known as a sports bar," he said. "I'm very happy."
